Hello all, it seems I’m the new guy around here so I’ll give you all a quick heads up on what my blog posts will entail: I will be posting about varying different music genres such as UK Funky, House, Grime and that ‘what you call it?’ genre which seems to be given many different names yet nothing has been cemented as its official title.

If you haven’t been living under a musical rock you would know that French Fries has been killing it. The Parisian has been hard at work making brilliant tunes. His remixes of GIRL UNIT’s IRL and Melé’s Bombay first got me into him; I was loving the tribal-esque vibe,  and then when he remixed Bambounou’s seminal Nappy Head and Amerie’s One Thing I knew he was here to stay.

I remember catching his set on boilerroom, and hearing a wicked tune with Roses Gabor’s signature vocals, it managed to get me to skank whilst sitting on my bed! Upon a bit of research, I found out it was Greenmoney - Into you.

Fortunately for all of us, this remixed version by French Fries has been released for free over on rcrdlbl.

The chopped up vocals, accentuates the deep kick pattern and  it progresses to some almost hypnotic 4/4. This is guaranteed to get you dancing!

Once all those tunes on his Soundcloud get released (and his Ganja remix), I will be a very happy bunny.

The original EP by Greenmoney drops on the 11/07/11, which features other remixes by Funkystepz and Cubic Zirconia (they collaborated with Bok Bok to make Reclash) so while we’re waiting for that, let’s enjoy this brilliant song. So get over to recrdlbl (link below) and cop this.
